Python and Anaconda are both available for Windows, Mac OS X, and most major flavors of the free open-source GNU/Linux operating system. I used Python 3.6.4 installed as part of the Anaconda Python distribution. To import the Apple Mail contacts with the phone numbers successfully, I wrote a Python 3 script to convert the VCF file to a comma separated values (CSV) file that Thunderbird could import with the phone numbers. Then save the vCard file: Apple Contacts Save Dialog Box To export the Apple Mail contacts, bring up the Apple Contacts application, select All Contacts, and select File | Export | Export vCard… Apple Contacts Export Closeup BUT, as it happens, Thunderbird failed to import the telephone numbers for my contacts, a long standing problem with Thunderbird. In principle, Apple Mail can export my address book (contacts) in the human-readable vcard or VCF, Virtual Contact File, format and Thunderbird can import an address book in vcard format. This involved switching from Apple Mail to the free open-source Mozilla Thunderbird. The only way I've found to do that is as described in my second paragraph in my previous post.I recently switched from an aging Apple Macbook Air to a shiny new, substantially lighter LG gram running Windows 10. I tried to do that, (enter the address book title into the compose page), but, if I have understood what it is saying, it is just the title and doesn't enter all the addresses from that book into the email as Windows Mail did. The second link you have given me contains this line. It explains the only way I can find to send a bulk send of an entire address book and the problem I am having with that method. I don't want to have to change 'To' to 'Bcc' 55 times every time I email all the members. One of my Address Books, (I've now entered them all in manually, so transferring a csv file is no longer an issue), has 55 addresses for the members of a club I run.

I know how to change a single address in an email to Ccc or Bcc, but the point I was making in my last post is I want to change all of the addresses in a bulk send email to Bcc all at once.
